July 24. Claire before she got her bath~
We went out to eat lunch…
We found bbq chicken, tofu, rice and vegetables. Claire loved this one.
We stayed in HsinChu for 1 night with Aunt Jean.

Our dinner (柳家魯肉飯、貢丸湯、炒米粉、油豆腐), it was a kind of night market (新竹城煌廟) next to a temple, very famous in HsinChu.
Claire with one of her many dog friends, she is a dog lover.
July 25. On our way to ShinPu, GG’s hometown

This is the clock that Claire’s Great-Grandpa designed. It is in front of ShinPu Elementary School.
Claire running around the school grounds, she is trying to get away from us~

This statue was also in front of the school~

In front of GG’s old house.

To get to the family site, you have to turn up this road…

That is where the Catholic Church is.

Then you will see bamboo, and you turn right. It is back here to the right up the hill.

This is the family site. You can see "Cheng" on the top circle.

Claire liked the dragon that was on there. I offered Claire to the ancestors, I know they were VERY happy to accept her as their gift!

Can you see the grass? It wasn’t cut for a LONG time so it was difficult to get to this place~
With Mommy…
Then after fulfilling the family duties, we had to satisfy our stomachs (乾粄條、湯粄條)!
This is the menu of the restaurant next to GG’s old house, still the best in ShinPu. There were so many people here.
On our way back to Taipei, Claire made Aunt Jean run after her~
